OUR BELIEFS
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Mission exists to glorify God by proclaiming and teaching the Good News of Jesus Christ; leading men and women to become His disciples and dependable members of His Church. Primarily focused on the Arabic speaking community, the objects of the mission are to:
OUR VISION
At JOWAEM, our vision is to be a vibrant and inclusive Arabic Evangelical Church that shines as a beacon of God's love, grace, and truth in Canada. Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, we aspire to:
In pursuit of this vision, we commit ourselves to prayer, intentional ministry, and unwavering faith in the transformative power of Jesus Christ. As an Arabic Evangelical Church in Canada, we are called to be a lighthouse of faith and hope, drawing people closer to God and each other.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
Dependent on the power of the Holy Spirit, we proclaim the love and good news of Jesus Christ through our words and actions. We rely on the truth and inspiration of the scriptures for God's guidance into the future that we approach knowing God is with us. We believe in the triune God, that is, God revealed in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We also believe in:
The divine inspiration of the Bible - the divine inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture, as originally given, and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ - the unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the Godhead; the sovereignty of God in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgment.
The sacrifice of Christ - the universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature since the fall, rendering man subject to God’s wrath and condemnation; and redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God.
The presence and power of the Holy Spirit - the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective to individual sinners, granting them repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ; the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit in sanctifying the believer.
Individual Responsibility – each person is responsible for their own sins and therefore their own response of faith to the work of Jesus Christ on the cross and the invitation of the Holy Spirit to repent, believe, and be baptized.
The priesthood of all believers – the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to believers for the purpose of ministry and glorifying God. Ministry does not belong to a certain class of believer but to all who belong to Christ. All ministries proceed from and are sustained by the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
Christ –centred community - the Church as the Bride of Christ is a community and a sanctuary; one where people should feel safe to experience meaningful relationships, with God through Jesus Christ, and with each other. When Christ calls us to Himself He call us to community.
The divine institution and mission of the church - the one holy universal church, which is the body of Christ, and to which all believers belong.
The obligation for evangelism - the responsibility of each believer to share in the promulgation of the free offer of the Gospel to a lost world.
The return of Christ - the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ the third day and His immediate presence at the right hand of the Father is to be followed by His personal return at the end of the age, accompanied by the resurrection of the dead.
